The Beaumonts Series
Bequeathed (Book One)
What if the person you fall for fits the exact mold of whom you’ve vowed never to marry?
Robert “West” Beaumont has just become the Marquess of Hampton and is embracing freedom from his father’s iron grip on the family. Seeking to restore the family finances while simultaneously divesting from businesses that leave a moral stain on the Beaumont family, the last thing he wants to deal with is looking for a wife.
Lady Priscilla, Dowager Duchess of Stern, is looking to stretch her wings and explore the new mobility in society now available to her as a widow. While her mother wishes to re-match her right away while still young enough to provide children, Priscilla is reluctant to tie herself down again so quickly.
Both are determined not to make matches based on the expectations of their family, but when West assists Priscilla in avoiding fortune seeking men, the ton mistakes them for a couple. Though neither wants to consider the other as a possible partner (they are exactly whom would please their families), the misconception continuing allows them to satisfy everyone and provides the space needed to meet their goals. But what happens when a fake relationship begins to feel all too real, and they may be the answer to what each was searching for all along?

“Romance can get a bit...repetitive in some ways, which I don’t really mind necessarily but it’s wonderful to be surprised. To have things said allowed that you have wished characters would say. To have some tried and true tropes executed just a bit differently than you have read 50 times prior and it makes you smile in the best way. These relationships and side characters were so bright and engaging….I plan on going back and reading her debut series as well!”
“I immediately felt myself rooting for the main characters, Priscilla and West, in this sweet fake relationship story. Despite their insistence that the other person was completely wrong as a partner, it was clear that they were meant to be together. I can’t wait to read more about the Beaumont family.”

Is choosing the one your heart desires worth losing the esteem of those you love best?
After failing to land a husband during her first Season, Alice Pembroke has been sent to the country home of her cousin, Marchioness Priscilla Beaumont, for tutelage. Anxious to meet her father’s ambitions of a high ranking marriage, Alice is willing to do anything her cousin instructs, but being assigned to oversee the gardens of Hampton House wasn't what she anticipated. Neither is working in proximity to the handsome new Estate Manager, who is the exact sort of man she's been taught to look down upon.
Having recently vacated his position as a Solicitor catering to the Peerage, Ethan Beaumont is eager to prove himself at Hampton House. He plans to make his cousin West’s estate a leading example within the Aristocracy by using new, more ethical land management practices—making it worth disappointing his father by leaving his law practice. Those ambitions are quickly hampered when Ethan must oversee garden renovations alongside a beautiful, vain, debutant who embodies the very life he finally escaped from.
Suppressing their objections to working together after a terrible first encounter, unbidden attraction begins to bloom over long days spent turning the soil. Impressions that were planted early on are soon found to be flawed and assumptions proven false, but both know the other is a distraction toward reaching their ultimate goals. Will they be able to acknowledge growing feelings and find a path forward together, even if choosing one another means uprooting envisioned futures?
